IR SOCIAL PROJECT 2022

IRPRESUNIV.ORG, CIKARANG - The Creative Work division of PUMA IR 2022 successfully conducted the International Relations Social Project 2022. This year's IR Social Project activities were carried out in two forms, online and offline. On the 25th of June, the Creative Work division successfully conducted an online webinar with the theme “Early Marriage: Is It Okay for Teenagers?”. It aims to educate young people on the impact of early marriage, especially on their mental health.

Two outstanding speakers attended this webinar and delivered very insightful materials. The first speaker, Ms. Yuan Yovita Setiawan, M.Psi. is a psychologist, who is very active in providing counseling or psychotherapy services. In addition, she is also the co-founder of “Awalmula SUB”, which is a platform for conducting online counseling for children, adolescents, and families. The second speaker is Ms. Ambar Restika Suryandaru, M.Psi., She is an educational psychologist, as well as a psychology lecturer at the University of Borobudur and the Indonesian Institute of Health in Jakarta

This webinar is held through the zoom meeting conference and opened by the Master of Ceremony, and followed by several agendas. After the opening by MC, the agenda was followed up by remarks from the Project Manager of IR Social Project 2022, Inka Rizky. Next, the second remarks came from the Chairperson of PUMA IR 2022, Andi Puteri Salsabila Nabone. Lastly, the remarks came from the Secretary of the International Relations Study Program, Ms. Natasya Kusumawardani, S.IP., MProfStuds (Hons). After all the remarks, two amazing speakers delivered their material about Early Marriage. It was moderated by the moderator, Putri Nabilla. After the material session, the participants were welcomed to ask questions and discuss with the speakers. The material and discussion sessions went very smoothly, and many participants were enthusiastic about this topic, as evidenced by the many questions asked by the two speakers.

The International Relation’s Social Project 2022 does not stop here. On the 9th of July 2022, the Creative Work division of PUMA IR 2022 successfully conducted the offline agenda in Kampung Bugis, Jayasakti Village, Muaragembong, Bekasi. It aims to increase the awareness of International Relations students in terms of humanity and sympathy. It also aims to provide an opportunity for students to contribute directly and help society. This year's offline social project activity is distributing donations to children at the AL-IBTIDA kindergarten, followed by several insightful and fun agendas. This event is opened by the Master of Ceremony, followed by a speech from Project Manager, Inka Rizky, and Chairperson of PUMA IR 2022, Andi Puteri Salsabila Nabone. The next was opening remarks from the principal, Tustin Kurniasih. After the opening remarks, the agenda was taken over by the Event Organizer.

After the opening remarks, the Event Organizer took control of the events and explained the next item on the agenda, namely group performances. The children were then separated into the following groups: wolves, lions, cats, and chickens. They were given time to practice, accompanied by the committee, and then awarded for displaying talents such as singing and dancing. The next activity continued after lunch break, games and awarding session. The Event Organizer directs the session, with assistance from other committee members. After the entire series of events above, it was continued by the submission of donations as well as closing remarks from both the committees and AL-IBTIDA Kindergarten.
