Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy 2017; Win – Winning ASEAN, Conquering Globalization

IRPRESUNIV.ORG, JAKARTA  ̶  Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) will again hold the third Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy 2017 (CIFP 2017). This most anticipated and the biggest foreign policy event in Indonesia will be conducted tomorrow on Saturday, October 21st 2017 at 9.00 – 18.00 in The Kasablanka, Mall Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta.

With the theme of “Win-Winning ASEAN, Conquering Globalization”, CIFP 2017 will show 18 sessions that will be filled by 80 respective speakers talking about: Globalization, Centralization of ASEAN, Maritime Fulcrum, South China Sea, Rohingya, North Korea, Marawi conflict, ISIS, free trade, One Belt-One Road, etc. CIFP 2017 choose that theme because it is in line with a commemoration of ASEAN 50th and remembering that the globalization right now shakes the international world again, and becomes the politic issue, whether in the developing world or the western world.  “Globalization is indeed becoming highlight this year, because this issue shakes various western countries including United States. Indonesian citizen really needs to take a close look in the direction of globalization in 20 years ahead. Do not misread the currents of time and take wrong steps,” says Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, the founder of FPCI, regarding to the theme.

Last year, Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) got awarded by Indonesian World Records Museum as “The Biggest Conference in the world talking about Indonesian Foreign Policy”. It was attended by estimated 6,000 participants from all around Indonesia and overseas. For this year, there are already 6,500 participants registered, making CFIP 2017 becomes the biggest foreign policy conference in Indonesia again this year. Dr. Dino Patti Djalal said that, “At first, our ambition is to make the biggest foreign policy conference in Indonesia only and that target has been achieved. However, we get a surprise that CIFP mentioned as foreign policy conference in the world. This means, in United States, India, Japan, or Tiongkok, there is no such conference about foreign policy as big as CIFP 2017.”

CIFP 2017 will be attended by various high profile officials and experts that will give update and analysis about foreign politics, some regions leaders, top class entrepreneur, numerous brilliant figures that will delineate big trend in the world, ambassadors from other countries, international relations scholars, celebrities, youth figures, etc.
