IRPRESUNIV.ORG, CIKARANG – President Center of International Studies in collaboration with President University Major Association of International Relations (PUMA IR) and World Resources Institute Indonesia (WRI) has succeeded in conducting the webinar event on the 30 April 2021 via zoom meeting and bring the topic about “Understanding the Environment In the Paradigm of International Relations”. This webinar was attended by the public participants, the lecturers or President University, and also bring the 2 (two) amazing speakers, M. Sigit A. Rahman, Ph.D., the lecturer of International Relations President University and M.Fadhli Zakiy, ST, MT, M.Sc as the Peatland Restoration Project Lead from World Resource Institute Indonesia.
The event was started by the opening from the Master of Ceremony, the continued to the speech from Dr. Muhammad A.S Hikam M.A, Ph.d. as the Head of International Relations Study Program of President University. After the speech, the MC directly gave a chance to Rey Abraham as the moderator to take the control of the webinar session. The moderator starts with the introduction about the topic and also the speakers. The first material session was delivered by Mr. M. Sigit A. Rahman, Ph.D. which was discussing understanding the global environment, and the second speaker, M.Fadhli Zakiy, ST, MT, M.Sc was delivered the topic in regard the climate change, the world, and Indonesia. All the material was very insightful and interconnected with the situation and condition nowadays. After the material session, the agenda continued to the question and answer session, in this part we saw that many questions that arose with full concern about the environment itself, signifying that the participants have great attention toward the environmental issues.
Eventually, the event arrived at the last session, before close the material session, the moderator gave his conclusion about the material that has been delivered and giving back the control to the master of ceremony to continue the agenda. Before officially close the event, do not forget to do the photo session with all participants to capture the moment together. The closing praise from the Master of Ceremony became the sign that the event had officially closed.
