IRPRESUNIV.ORG, CIKARANG– Saturday (15/07/2017), Domestic Affairs Division of President University Major Association of International Relations (PUMA IR) conducted IR Farewell 2013, an annual event which is aimed to become a farewell as well as celebration for upper batches that has just graduated, presented by the juniors from IR President University. Held in Sahid Jaya Lippo Cikarang Hotel, this year IR Farewell came with International Relations Prom Night: A Night to Remember as the grand theme, which was chosen as a hope that the celebration will give a memorable and unforgettable farewell for the students of batch 2013.
The event was preceded by souvenirs-giving and photobooth session for the participants, continued by opening speeches started by one of the honorable lecturers of IRSP, Prof. Anak Agung Banyu Perwita, Ph.D., then continued with Dibyana Galih Prakasita and Dwiki Laitalahin, the Vice-Chairperson of PUMA IR and the Project Manager of this event.
The event proceeded to a gala dinner which was enlivened by amazing music performances bought up by the juniors from various batches. Some exciting session such as “Dance with Me” and “Secret Box” was also held to light up the atmosphere. The formal event was concluded by an awarding session, followed by performances and speeches from batch 2013, and lastly, a closing-video screening as a form of tribute from the graduating batch.
“I am so glad that i attend this farewell party since it is the last time for us batch 2013 to enjoy our togetherness before we graduated. Even though some of us are not present, well at least we can have a flashback to every moments we already had. Lastly, i would like to say thank you to the committees for conducting this event, I hope all of us will be able to attain our success wherever we are” Said Novy Sartika, from IR batch 2013 as her impression toward the event. Later, a lively after-party with DJ, pool games, and barbeque live cooking has successfully brightened the night as a night to remember.
